Estate and Succession Planning
Felipe Mendes is a founding partner of Mendes and heads the Labor and Employment practice across litigation, advisory and strategic work. His approach rests on a practical premise: a company's labor liabilities build up through day-to-day decisions, long before they reach the Labor Courts. He therefore combines the defense of high-value claims with the review of internal practices, manager training and risk prevention.
He is particularly active in collective bargaining, leading the negotiation of collective agreements over consecutive cycles. He holds a Ph.D. in Labor Law from PUC-SP, with a dissertation on the obstacles to the development of collective bargaining, teaches undergraduate and graduate courses at CESUPA and is a guest lecturer at the Judicial School of the Regional Labor Court of the 5th Region.
