Government Relations

The Government Relations practice builds institutional bridges between private clients and government, organizing well-grounded dialogue with direct and indirect public administration bodies, regulatory agencies, ministries, state and municipal departments, public authorities, legislatures and courts of accounts. Its premise is that engaging with the public sector is, by nature, an exercise in institutional patience and political judgment: it requires technical preparation, knowledge of formal procedures and clarity about the legitimate interests at stake, with transparency and within the applicable ethical and legal frameworks.

The work includes preparing technical notes and briefs for presentation to the competent authorities, support in public consultations and public participation processes, institutional mediation in public-private disputes involving essential services, organizing technical working groups with multiple levels of government (State, municipalities, operators and concessionaires), engagement in administrative oversight and sanction proceedings, and monitoring petitions before courts of accounts.
