The trust we build with clients, partners and our team also rests on the way we organize and run the firm. Our governance sets out principles, responsibilities and processes that guide decisions, bring consistency to our work and help preserve, day to day, the values we have built over the years.
We believe that professional management is essential to achieving our goals. That is why our governance practices evolve with the firm and are continually revisited in light of changes in the market, in society and in Mendes itself.
Management structure
The way we practice law also depends on the way we manage the firm. Over the years, we have built a management model that combines legal knowledge, professional management practices and a long-term vision.
The firm is led by our Managing Partner, in permanent dialogue with the other partners, and supported by leaders dedicated to strategic areas such as People, Finance, Communications and Technology. This structure expands our planning and execution capacity, allowing key decisions to be made in an integrated manner, with clear responsibilities and alignment with the firm's strategy.
More than supporting legal work, our management structure takes an active part in building the firm we want to be. We look after people, processes, technology, resources and relationships with the same care we give to the matters our clients entrust to us.
For us, the excellence of a law firm lies not only in the quality of its legal work, but also in how it organizes itself to deliver it. That is how we will keep growing sustainably.
Code of Ethics and Conduct
Our Code of Ethics and Conduct translates into guidelines the principles that govern relationships and decisions at Mendes. Beyond the duties inherent to the practice of law, it sets standards for our relationship with clients, colleagues, partners, the community, the environment and society.

Privacy Policy
Our Privacy Policy sets out the guidelines we follow when processing the personal data of clients, counterparties, candidates, website visitors and other data subjects with whom we interact.
Drafted in compliance with Brazil's General Data Protection Law (Law No. 13,709/2018) and integrated into our internal governance practices, the Policy describes the criteria we apply to data processing and the channels available for data subjects to exercise their rights, including contact with our Data Protection Officer (DPO).
